Estimate Solutions Limited provides an estimating service to businesses using Audatex and Inter-Est estimating systems.
Each Client/Repairer provides Estimate Solutions with customer details and to remain compliant with GDPR legislation of May 2018, Estimate Solutions ensures the following:
- Estimate Solutions Limited is registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO)
- Each Client/Repairer remains the data controller of the data passed to Estimate Solutions, who is the data processor
- Each Client/Repairer ensures that all data passed to Estimate Solutions has been collected in compliance with GDPR
- The data will be used purely to produce an estimate and will be limited to customer name, address, telephone number, vehicle details, vehicle parts and prices.
- All data collected via the website of Estimate Solutions and/or any other internet- based platform will be used for the purposes of generating an estimate and then destroyed
- The data may be networked to insurance companies subject to instruction from each Client/Repairer
- Estimate Solutions will take all necessary measures to keep all data strictly confidential
- Estimate Solutions will not duplicate or reproduce any part of the information passed to them by the Client/Repairer
- Estimate Solutions will not pass the data onto any other third party unless instructed to by the Client/Repairer and then only to those for the purpose of gaining authority to repair the vehicle
- Estimate Solutions will not access the details once the estimate has been produced unless updates/changes are requested by the Client/Repairer
- All data is stored on either Audatex or Inter-Est estimating systems and not by Estimate Solutions
In respect of each Client/Repairer:
- Estimate Solutions is the data controller
- Client/Repairer details such as name, address, telephone and email addresses of the business are stored by Estimate Solutions to enable contact but would be destroyed on request should the Client/Repairer cease to do business with Estimate Solutions
- Estimate Solutions will not pass on Client/Repairer information to any third party without gaining explicit consent from the Client/Repairer concerned
- Estimate Solutions uses antiviral software and makes every effort to reduce the possibility of cyber-attack
