Networking Explained
- When you ask us to network an estimate, we send your estimate and images to an insurer/engineer via Audatex. Everything we’ve prepared on Audatex gets transferred to an engineer and they will have full access to your estimate...
- This means the engineer can make changes to your estimate, before sending your estimate back to us.
- When we get your estimate back from the engineer, we let you know by emailing you a copy of the Revised Estimate and a Comparison Report. The Comparison Report highlights any changes the engineer may have made.
- At this point, you decide if you are going to accept the changes made to your estimate or if you want to question/discuss/negotiate. You can do this by contacting and speaking to the engineer directly or we can send a reply through Audatex on your behalf.
- As soon as any changes to your Estimate have been agreed, you will receive an Authority Note with agreed repair costs – you can then order parts and repair the vehicle and send an invoice to the insurer for payment. (Or use our invoice factoring partners, Smart Business Link (SBL) ask for details.)
Note: In some cases, your estimate doesn’t get changed and the repair costs given in the initial
estimate are agreed.
As always, we welcome any questions about this process.
